Declare a Climate Emergency - Zoom Discussion & Q&A

We can't ignore the scale of the problem we face on climate change – it's clear that we must work across the board to tackle this enormous issue at a local level.

Liberal Democrats are renewing calls for Harrogate Borough Council to declare a Climate Emergency and commit to net zero carbon by 2030.

As part of our campaign, we want to bring those who are passionate about this issue together, and discuss how we, as local residents, can make a real difference.

Join us for our 'Declare a Climate Emergency' Zoom event on Wednesday 4th November at 6pm with special guests:

  • Sarah Olney - MP for Richmond Park and Liberal Democrat spokesperson in Parliament for the Climate Emergency, Business & Energy, and Transport
  • Jemima Parker - Chair of Zero Carbon Harrogate

Please RSVP below and the Zoom link will be sent by email.
