Join us on Thursday 24th September at 7:30pm for a virtual policy discussion event on the future of Harrogate and Knaresborough!
The biggest shake-up of local government since 1974 will have a huge impact on every aspect of North Yorkshire.
Not only will the changes cost millions in local taxpayers' money, but it will also leave our area with a mega Tory-run council, headed up by an Executive Mayor, and taking decision-making even further away from the residents of Harrogate and Knaresborough.
With the deadline for a decision looming, we want your opinion on these major changes, as well as your ideas on the future of our campaign.
Members will be joined by Pat Marsh, Leader of the Opposition and Councillor for Hookstone ward on Harrogate Borough Council; Geoff Webber, Councillor for Bilton & Nidd Gorge on North Yorkshire County Council; and Philip Broadbank, Councillor for Starbeck on both Harrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council.
Please RSVP here and the Zoom code will be sent by email.
